For senior leaders

Copilot Leadership Bootcamp

Eight weeks. Four sprints. A leadership cohort that understands, uses, and governs Microsoft 365 Copilot, ending with a formal recommendation your organisation can act on.

Not a training course. A structured programme with real outputs.

Most senior leaders approved Copilot licences without using Copilot themselves. That creates a credibility gap when adoption is reviewed, a governance gap when decisions about scaling are made, and a cultural gap when employees look upward for a reason to engage.

The Copilot Leadership Bootcamp closes all three. Four self-paced sprints, each two weeks long. Every sprint produces a real executive artefact you keep and reuse. Sprint 4 ends with a group showcase and a formal Stop/Iterate/Scale recommendation grounded in your own experience of the tool.

8 weeks, self-paced
Everything included upfront
Minimal coordination overhead
One live group showcase

Four sprints. Four deliverable packs.

Each sprint runs for two weeks at the participant's own pace. One required completion point per sprint: the Sprint Wrap artefact.

Sprint 1
Weeks 1 and 2

Prompting Fundamentals

Participants establish safe-use rules, learn to turn vague problems into usable briefs, produce a one-page executive decision brief, and run a structured verification pass before anything is shared.

Sprint 1 Exec Pack Decision brief template, verification checklist, personal prompt card
Sprint 2
Weeks 3 and 4

Copilot Across Apps

Copilot applied to the four apps executives use daily: Outlook email threads into decision packs, Teams meeting notes into action tables, Excel data into executive summaries, and Notebooks for grounded analysis from trusted sources.

Sprint 2 Exec Workflow Pack Four reusable workflow prompts, one per app, with verification checklist
Sprint 3
Weeks 5 and 6

Agents

What agents are, when they make sense, and when they do not. Participants use a native agent, build a tool-choice decision rule for their own work, write a structured agent brief, and build and test a personal agent.

Personal Agent and Agent Brief A working agent designed to their role, with a governance brief ready to share
Sprint 4
Weeks 7 and 8

Apply, Govern, and Decide

Participants define a real pilot, build a risk register and governance statement, set a measurement plan with a baseline, align to the organisational AI strategy, and present at the group showcase.

Showcase Pack and Recommendation Pilot brief, risk register, measurement plan, Stop/Iterate/Scale recommendation

What participants produce

Every sprint ends with a reusable artefact. By Sprint 4, each participant has a complete set of executive AI assets they keep and use after the programme ends.

Executive decision brief template Reusable across any complex decision that needs rapid structuring
Verification checklist A personal habit and a shareable standard for AI-assisted outputs
Exec workflow prompt card Four prompts covering Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Notebooks
Personal Copilot agent Designed, tested, and documented for a specific repeating task in their role
Agent brief and governance statement Ready to present to a governance panel or share with the wider team
Pilot brief and risk register Scoped, documented, and ready to run in a defined part of the organisation
Measurement plan Baseline, target, and evidence threshold defined before the pilot runs
Stop/Iterate/Scale recommendation A formal, evidenced recommendation the organisation can act on immediately

How it runs

No facilitator. No scheduling overhead. Sprint materials are delivered automatically from the moment you purchase.

Purchase and set up
Everything is included in the download: all four sprint documents, the setup guide, and the showcase brief. Teams channel and Planner board setup takes around 30 minutes.
Release each sprint to participants
Forward the relevant sprint document to participants at the start of each two-week period. One email, once a fortnight. The setup guide tells you exactly when and what to send.
Participants work at their own pace
Four tasks per sprint, roughly 30 minutes each. One required completion point: the Sprint Wrap artefact saved as a Copilot Page. Progress tracked on a shared Planner board.
Group showcase in week 8
The only live event. Each participant presents their Stop/Iterate/Scale recommendation in three minutes. The showcase facilitation guide is included in the kit.

Who this is for

Senior leaders in organisations that have deployed Microsoft 365 Copilot and need leadership-level competence, not just employee adoption.

IT Directors and CTOs Who approved the licences and need to understand what they bought
L&D and People Directors Who are being asked to solve an adoption problem that training alone cannot fix
COOs and Operations leads Who want to identify where AI can safely improve workflows before committing to a wider rollout
Senior leadership teams Who need to model the behaviour before they can credibly ask their organisation to change

Works alongside the Copilot Bootcamp Kit

The most effective Copilot rollouts run in both directions at once. The Leadership Bootcamp builds competence and governance at the top. The Copilot Bootcamp Kit builds habits across the wider team. Leaders who have used Copilot themselves are more credible advocates, better at answering questions, and better positioned to make the scale decision at the end.

Common questions

The licence covers one programme run with no participant cap. In practice, leadership cohorts work best with 6 to 15 people - enough for meaningful showcase discussion, small enough that the group showcase remains focused.

No ongoing facilitator role is needed. All four sprint documents are included in the download. The person who purchases the kit forwards the relevant sprint document to participants at the start of each two-week period, one email once a fortnight. The setup guide covers the Teams channel and Planner board in around 30 minutes. The Sprint 4 group showcase is the one live event and runs from the included showcase facilitation guide.

Each sprint has one required completion point: the Sprint Wrap artefact. The four tasks within each sprint are self-contained and take around 30 minutes each. The two-week window per sprint gives enough flexibility to fit around executive diaries without the programme losing momentum.

No. Every task uses tools participants already have in Microsoft 365 and real work they already do. Sprint 1 starts from scratch, including an access check on Day 1. The programme is designed for senior leaders who have not used Copilot before, as well as those who have used it occasionally without structure.

They are designed to run in sequence. The Leadership Bootcamp runs first with the senior cohort, building the competence and governance foundations. The Copilot Bootcamp Kit then runs with the wider employee cohort, with leaders who have already used Copilot actively championing it. Buying both together saves £500 off the combined price.
